Proactive Communication with Employees!
HD Hyundai Construction Equipment recently held a conference to communicate with employees and interns.
The Product Development department has been actively striving to enhance corporate culture and product competitiveness by conveying on-site opinions to the executives through regular monthly conferences with the CEO since last year. On July 11th, a 'Product Planning Conference' was held at GRC. President Cheol-Gon Choi and around 10 employees from the Product Planning department attended the event, discussing various ways to enhance product competitiveness and sharing achievements and future improvements in product development.
Also, we discussed various improvement measures that could lead to enhanced quality competitiveness through an 'Open Corporate Culture'.
There was a communication moment for interns to encourage them, as well.
On July 17th, we held a 'Communication Meeting for Interns Linked to Hiring' for interns related to the program.
About 20 interns introduced their individual tasks, shared their impressions of the two-month internship, and freely asked President Cheol-Gon Choi questions about memorable episodes from social life and how to overcome challenges. President Choi shared his experiences and know-how from his early career, the principles/values he stood for, empathizing with their difficulties and providing warm advice.
The conference provided a meaningful opportunity to share employees' concerns about product quality competitiveness and challenges in the workflow. We will continue to create opportunities to communicate with employees through various windows.
